SurfNZ online again

Surf NZ is online again.

The technical solution to this problem was to run the following commands:

killall -9 apache2    #Force the Apache webserver to stop
killall -9 miniserv.pl    #Force the webmin (web administration server) to stop
service start apache2  #Start the Apache webserver

Webmin will not be restarted since it seems to slow the system down slightly.

SurfNZ currently offline

The website surf nz is currently offline due to a server overload.  It should be back online soon.

The cause seems to be a robot crawling the site.

Technical details for possible solution:

Rebooting the server is an option, however this might result in losing log file information.  The other option is to stop apache2 using the following command:

killall -9 apache2

Even after running the above command the server is still running slowly.
